A little less than a month ago, the emailing agency Alchemy Worx (present in Atlanta and London) published an infographic on emailing myths.

The 7 myths of email marketing:

  1. Consumers are drowning in emails sent by trusted brands;
  2. The best time to send an email is Thursday at 3pm;
  3. You should stop sending your campaigns to subscribers who have been inactive for more than six months (I recommend that you read this article again 😉 );
  4. Consumers are trigger-happy with the anti-spam button;
  5. If a brand sends more emails, they will simply be ignored;
  6. Short subject lines give better results;
  7. Emails arrive in spam boxes because of their subject lines.
