It is quite normal to lose some subscribers over time. In fact, if no one is unsubscribing, you should be concerned that something is not working properly. However, losing subscribers is not pleasant.

Here is a series of tips to try to retain them in the rules of art:

  • Are you sending too many emails, too quickly? Set expectations: Explain to your subscribers what they will receive and when they will receive it when they sign up for your email marketing program.
  • Is your content boring? Don't bombard your subscribers with promotions. Publish regular content that answers their needs and questions.
  • How do your subscribers end the relationship? Regularly check that your unsubscribe process is working, ask "Why?" when unsubscribing... but NEVER send emails to someone who has unsubscribed.

Reading content isn't everything. The best way is to talk to us.
