Microsoft has been making a big effort lately and has released a brand new new version of its Outlook application for smartphones at the start of 2015. While the application is a good start, notably via its very good responsive email support, there are still a few shortcomings, including in particular worries about thesender name display. While all email clients always display the alias of the "From:" field as the sender of the email, it seems that Outlook's mobile application displays the alias of the "Reply-to:" field if present.

As a result, consistency between the "From:" and "Reply-to:" fields is a must!

  1. Microsoft has released a new mobile app for outlook because it has mainly bought the app "Acompli".
The latter was the best in mail management applications.
