Email builder: state of play

It's been a while since we last heard from our email builderand yet it continues to grow!

For those who are not yet aware, Badsender has developed an email builder for non-technical people. General information can be to be found on this page. As a reminder, it is a tool where Badsender will define with the customer a template composed of fixed elements (in general a header + a footer) and of reusable blocks which it will be possible to arrange as one pleases. It is thus about a template and blocks which will be created to measure according to the customers needs, as well as a HTML code developed specifically, and not a generic template.
The customizable elements are also defined with the customer; some prefer to have a very important choice of personalization (typography, colors, background colors, height of the lines, ...), others prefer to lock the options so that their users do not move away from the graphic charter of the company.
For example, the customization options may vary from this:

to this:

Since its launch, in addition to various technical updates in the backoffice, the builder has benefited from two main upgrades:

Need help?

Reading content isn't everything. The best way is to talk to us.

  1. The tool is now also able to manage background images (Outlook included!). So you can load a background image in a block and play with the other parameters (background colors, block height, ...) to get the desired result, either a full background image, or an image with a gradient that blends with the background color. And of course, you can put text, button, image, etc. on top of it.
  2. The second improvement is in image storage, we now have two levels of image gallery: a gallery specific to the email you are working on, and a gallery specific to the template you are working on; gallery that will share the images it contains on all emails related to the template in question. The classic use is to have recurring corporate images, or a series of pictograms defined that it is no longer necessary to load each time in the email.

These are the 2 most notable improvements of the last few months, and at the same time we continue to maintain and refine our builder. We have in our roadmap, for the next few months, 2 notable evolutions:
The first will be the possibility of Crop images directly in the builder, which will avoid users who do not have image editing software to call a graphic designer and should make their email production more fluid.
The second evolution will be the possibility to create blocks with mobile-specific content. We will keep you informed of the arrival of these two upgrades!

  1. Wow! It's just amazing what you are producing!
I'm an email integrator myself and I can see how much work it is!
So I boost you and encourage you again and again for your work

  2. Thank you 🙂
It is indeed a lot of work, and at the same time, it is really motivating to build this kind of tool since we create ourselves the HTML code that we inject afterwards in the template, so we really have the hand on all the steps!
