If you have deployed BIMI, if you are in the process of BIMI deployment or if you are planning a BIMI deployment, read on!
In summary : To deploy BIMI, you need to purchase a certificate from Entrust or Digicert, the only two suppliers of VMC (Verified Mark Certificate) and CMC (Common Mark Certificate) certificates. Apple has announced that it will stop relying on Entrust certificates. Google could follow suit, as it no longer trusts other Entrust certificates.
Impact: Risk of no longer having its logo displayed in Apple Mail (and perhaps Google next).

How do you react to different situations?
- If you use a Entrust certificate purchased before November 15, 2024 Unless there are new announcements, you can stay with Entrust until the renewal date. For renewal, you'll need to migrate to Digicert.
- If you use or plan to use a Entrust certificate purchased after November 15, 2024 We recommend that you switch to Digicert now and change the certificate referenced in your BIMI registration.
- If you use a Digicert certificate : Everything's fine, you don't have to do anything.
