Why this choice?

I like sober newsletters, and this is one of them: the hierarchy of the importance of the information is clearly present, with titles, texts and Call to Action clearly distinct from one another. The Call to Action texts in the email are also very well writtenexplicit yet intriguing! Color contrasts enhance accessibility and readability of text content. Hyperlinks are well presented in their own right, and the full-width visuals allow access to a comprehensible version of the email in mobile format. However, there are a few things that bother me:

  • The logo appears twice at the top of the email. Why not keep it only in the cover? That would be quite sufficient in my opinion.
  • The cover title is part of the image: it's too bad! Why design almost all text content in HTML, and not think about this text?
  • There's no mirror page link. And that bothers me terribly. Especially coming from a platform that sends emails...
